Introducing..."A NEW ME: Life Transformation Program"

This past

weekend I had the opportunity to speak at GROW Women’s Conference, “You Were Born for More.” My topic was entitled, “Embracing A NEW ME After Tragedy." Here’s a glimpse of what I shared:

The word embrace means to take hold of something

willingly and enthusiastically. When I refer to A NEW ME, I’m speaking of the consummate individual or at least on the path of embracing wholeness and fulfilling their God given purpose.

After experiencing a tragedy who would want to embrace or willingly take hold of A NEW ME

enthusiastically? It's an oxymoron right? A tragedy is a catastrophic or disastrous event such as a crime, sudden death, loss, abuse, or even witnessing a tragedy (or anything you deem a tragic experience in your life). The concept of beginning again or embracing A NEW ME after a devastating incident seems exhausting or even impossible.

The truth, it is exhausting and you will experience moments when it "feels" impossible to pick up the pieces of your broken life. However, with God all things are possible. Yet, even with this core belief it doesn't diminish the feelings and reality of the pain. Why is it so difficult to move forward with life after tragedy? It’s because tragedy results in trauma. A trauma is an incident outside the range of normal human experiences which has the potential to easily sidetrack a person’s usual ability to cope with stress.

We have to cope with everyday life stressors such as meeting deadlines, raising our children, or providing for our families. Those are normal human experiences. The problem comes when we try to apply the same normal coping strategies or abilities to our traumas. Traumas are outside the range. We cannot apply normal coping strategies to experiences outside of what is normal. It will not work because we are physiologically wired to cope with trauma differently.

To Embrace A NEW ME After Tragedy, we have to understand how it affects us. Then, we must be willing to work through the healing process.

Today I want to introduce A NEW ME: Life Transformation Program. It's designed to help “Transform your brokenness and losses into opportunities for personal growth, healing, and purpose.” It's a 5 stage transformation journey incorporating a biblical and professional counseling perspective to help you navigate through unresolved traumas from your past.

It has taken me quite some time to create this program because it was birthed out of my personal tragedies and losses. Therefore, I am a huge advocate of the program because I have personally lived through every stage. I've also experienced personal growth, wholeness, and am now living in my purpose. I also couldn't do it alone so I partnered with my divine connections who were equipped to help me build the program and understand the journey of embracing A NEW ME: Transparently, Abundantly in Christ. Now, I want to share it with you!

If you’re sick and tired of being in the same place and ready to push through being “stuck” emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, this program is for you. If you’re currently struggling to move forward with past unresolved issues, this program is for you. If you’re ready to trust God with your broken heart and understand how your brokenness has affected you to the core, this program is for you.
