We are Redefining REAL BEAUTY this F.A.B. (Fashion and Beauty) Feature Friday with Nicole Baldwin, owner of PYNK LUXE. Nicole and I met at my home church back in Houston, TX. She is truly a sweet soul and she's super fashionable. I've been eyeing her brand for a while because she has such gorgeous pieces!

If you're looking for some amazing neck, arm or ear candy, eyewear, but not to exclude uniquely designed personalized pieces, PYNK LUXE is your GO TO accessory store! I will certainly be ordering my custom piece soon. After reading this special feature I am sure you will be ready to snag one for yourself as well! Enjoy!

Dr. E: Who is Nicole Baldwin and what are some of her major accomplishments?

Nicole: I’m originally from Sarasota, FL but migrated to Houston, TX in 2007, I have to say my story began, like so many others do, with a single ambition...I wanted to revolutionize the way women accessorize I have always been a lover of fashion. PYNK LUXE is my creative outlet to share all those lovely things! Being able to share my passion with customers brings me joy on a daily basis. Some of my accomplishments thus far has been voted Houston’s designer on the rise, 40 under 40 to look for, I have collaborated with major organizations such as Star of Hope, Tree of Hope, New York Fashion Week, MTV, as well as my accessories has been seen worn by many influential people as well as celebrities.

Dr. E: That is amazing! So please tell us, why did you get into the F.A.B. (Fashion and Beauty) industry?

Nicole: I’ve been into clothes, shoes and accessories my whole life, so it never occurred to me that my style sense was a commodity that could be sold! Honestly, I just like pretty things, especially if they are sparkly! It was in 2010 that I decided to turn my old beloved and passionate hobby of jewelry design and crafting, into a profession when I was constantly being asked what I was wearing or if people could, quite literally, buy right off my neck, with this love of luxury feminine accessories with a classic twist, I decided to launch my online boutique Pynkluxe.com.

Dr. E: How awesome! It's true, our passions can lead us to profit and our purpose! Since FAB Friday's is not just about featuring Fashion and Beauty, but about "Redefining" it, how would you define Real Beauty?

Nicole: I believe that real beauty resonates from within. People are more than their physical appearance. We are our thoughts, our passions, and our personalities. I don't think there's anything more beautiful than a person who is confident of herself/himself and who is comfortable with who they are.

Dr. E: I agree with you Nicole. Confidence is beautiful! Now, I have a more personal question for you. Have you ever struggled with your inner beauty? If yes, how did you overcome it to embrace your real beauty?

Nicole: Of course; it took becoming wiser and having a personal relationship with God to realize that beauty is not only outer but it’s your character and how you treat others once I realized that I became more confident and started to live my purpose and truth with no regrets. I always tell little girls and even other women that God does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart. Nothing in a person’s outward appearance impresses God. God looks upon the inner beauty, the beauty of one’s heart.

Dr. E: I love that. "Nothing in a person's outward appearance impresses God." It's true God truly does look inwardly. So do you find a lot of your clients (or people you encounter regularly) open up to you about their personal inner beauty struggles? If yes, what are some of them and how do you help them during those moments?

Nicole: Yes; I work in the beauty industry, so naturally, I am expected to view external beauty first, but I believe in the bigger picture. I’ve made it my mission to motivate women to be confident, healthy and love themselves inside and out! I am blessed with an opportunity to do this through my work.

Dr. E: That's so amazing you're able to do that in the beauty industry. Now, tell us about your Faith in God. What does it mean to you in you line of work?

Nicole: It is impossible to please God without Faith. You see, many people ask how I have moved further faster... But God! I didn't do this! God did this! I just asked, prayed bold prayers... And I believed. I had faith and I expected it! You see, I've asked God to use my influence so that I can expand his kingdom! There is no limit for what God can do for you when you use what he has given you to help others! I've prayed for Super Natural Favor! I have been called out. I've been set apart. When he breathed life into me, God marked me with distinctive favor. I will put my shoulders back... Hold my head up... Because I have asked for distinctive favor. It's not because of WHO I am... It's because of WHOSE I am. He will always give us the desires of our hearts. He knows my heart. He knows my purpose and my passion. He is allowing me the fruits of his land because I give all glory to him! Child of the MOST HIGH!

Dr. E: Wow! I am truly encouraged by that! Sometimes we forget we need to simply BELIEVE in WHO we belong to and we need to be reminded to pray BOLD prayers! Thank you for that! So being in the beauty industry what is the one F.A.B. question you get asked consistently?

Nicole: How to wear a statement necklace. So I tell them wearing a statement necklace can enhance your wardrobe and transform your outfit. Pairing a basic tee with a glitzy statement necklace can do wonders, and easily transition your outfit from day to night.

Below is an example of how to wear a statement necklace: A pop of color is the best way to sass up your basics. Our acrylic monogram in fuchsia is not only a great pop of color, but a great layering piece!

Dr. E: Okay and might I add you have some FABulous statement necklaces! Now, I'm sure a lot of women may struggle with living a FAB Lifestyle. If there was one F.A.B. tip you can give to them, what would it be?

Nicole: Love, nurture and believe in yourself! Beauty is not a destination; it is a journey. It is not a gift but a choice that we make. Treat those around you with love and kindness, let your heart lead you to your dreams. We are all blessed to live this life of ours, do it with grace, smiles and positivity. Energetically remind yourself that you are unique, there is no one else like you, be your own best friend, every single day.

Dr. E: I love that! Embracing your beauty is definitely a journey or process. Switching gears here, tell us what do you like to do for fun?

Nicole: I’m such a movie buff so I’m always going to the movies on Friday or Saturday night. I also enjoy reading, painting, hanging out with friends and family and anything that allows me to be creative.

Dr. E: That's a great way to bring some balance in your life while channeling your creativity! Tell us, what can we expect to see from you in 2016? What great plans or projects can we expect to support?

Nicole: I have a few upcoming travel collaborations with refinery 29 and Estee Lauder,

which is really exciting because I’ve been planning to expand my brand more in the

lifestyle area. I also have a few that I’m pretty excited about for 2016 but I can’t

share the brand details just yet!

Dr. E: Wow, what great collaborations you have in store! And looks like we'll just have to stay tuned to watch those new brand details unfold! I"m so happy for you Nicole! Is there anything else you would like to share with us?

Nicole: Just to watch out for my fashion and lifestyle blog called Luxe Style that I will be launching in the next months.

Dr. E: I'm looking forward to that! Now, please tell everyone how you can be contacted should they need your services, make purchases, or find out more information about your brand.
